TEN IMAGES OF INSPIRATION : READY FOR SUMMER.

It's right around the corner and I cannot wait. River swimming, day trips to the beach, picnics, backyard barbecues, popsicles, and drinking fruity cocktails on warm nights.

INTERIOR INSPIRATION : PALM SPRINGS.

Growing up in Los Angeles, my family and I would take frequent trips to Palm Springs. It's been years and years since I've visited, but now it looks like I will be heading back next year for my honeymoon! It's such a mecca for mid-century design, which I couldn't appreciate as a child, so I'm looking forward to soaking it all in (along with plenty of sun and cocktails.)

SHE & HIM.

For your middle-of-the-week morning: the new She & Him video. It's Zooey Deschanel's nod to 60s musicals (my fave) and the perfect thing for this dreary spring day.

A BEAUTIFUL MESS : THE APP!

I downloaded Elsie & Emma's A Beautiful Mess photo app last night and have been instantly completely addicted to it. It's so much fun to add sweet doodles, curly writing, and handdrawn borders to iPhone photos- I can tell I will be using this one a lot. Here is the link to purchase. Amazing job, ladies!

CH-CH-CH-CHANGES.

Hey hey, there's a new look around here! It's been a long time coming- please let me know what you think. Also, expect some changes around here soon: photo tours, interviews, wedding details, guest posts. I'm excited!

Also, I found out today that The Telegraph listed Design is Mine as a top interior design blog, which seriously made my day.

Now on to a new week!

THOUGHT OF THE DAY : MORE THAN MINT TOOTHPASTE.

"I Love You More Than Anything," a sweet valentine that illustrator Kelsey Garrity-Riley made for her husband last year. (See also: blog)

INTERIOR INSPIRATION : STUDIO SPACES.

Whenever I'm feeling a lack of inspiration and motivation for creating, I dig through pictures of art spaces, places where others feel surges of creativity. I think that even if it's just a tiny spot in your home, everyone needs a place to inspire and produce art.
